This should work. That's how I did mine. Do you by chance have any suggestions on the Alexa code to claim my site? I put the code into my html, and Alexa can't read it or find it. Doesn't all of this techy stuff drive you crazy!?
Michael Ann - I think it worked? At least it's showing up in the technorati directory now, which it wasn't before.
Courtney - I'm not sure about the Alexa code. Mine is put in as an html widget over there on the side, but I can't remember how I claimed my site. Where did you put the code on your site?
Did it work doing it this way? I still can't get mine to work so I just gave up. :(
