If you've been following my blog for a while, you know that I have a few
focuses focii things going on in here. I can't really call it a full-on Mommy Blog. It's not a Crafty blog, or a Savings blog. And as much as I love to eat, it sure ain't a Foodie Blog. So, what IS this thing? To say it is a journey of self-discovery sounds cheasy and cliche. Perhaps I'm trying to find my way on this vast highway of motherhood. And looking for some rest stops, trashy magazines, talk radio, and good music along the way.
So, here is where I shamelessly plug myself. I'm on the long list of blogs that are up for the Circle of Moms Top 25 Health and Fitness Moms.
Now, is my blog solely about fitness? I think there are things that weigh heavily in here. Dancing and trying to get stronger are what my main focus has been for the past few months, as many of you have
had to endure followed. And I'm right back in it again, finding myself in the same pattern many of you do, the hills and valleys of physical fitness. What I do think this blog is mostly about is Health. More importantly, Mental Health. I've been struggling with depression, searching for ways to calm my mind and slow down my thoughts, and fighting to re-frame my picture of what is happiness. An attempt to repattern my thought process (with the help of many wonderful books and websites) from lifelong habitual negativity to one of positive thoughts and presence of mind. Hokey? Perhaps. But it is what it is. How very Zen of me...

You sound like me. I started out a Go Green blog because that was my life but then obviously I got bored and kept throwing more things in.
Can we help it if we are so creative and get bored easy. I think not.
I'm starting an exercise program to tone up so maybe we can compare notes. LOL
